Best of 2021: Dan Fisher-Eustance

There's no denying that Brighton native turned London local Dan Fisher-Eustance had a productive 2021. Following on from the release of his bonkers Free part in December 2020, Dan kept the momentum going throughout the last year, claiming multiple pages of mag coverage, having standout footage in the Huf UK Contact High edit, and dropping no end of ridiculous clips via his 'Gram. As we collectively get to grips with 2022, Dan has kindly taken a look back at the year that just was. Have a scroll below now for a handful of Dan's 2021 highlights...

Skater of 2021: Yuto or Suciu Trick of 2021: Can’t really narrow it down much further than these four: Kyle Wilson’s switch heel at Southbank Suciu’s nollie cab 5-0 in Flora III That front 3 blunt fakie at Burnside (Jake Wooten) The Yuto nollie backside 360 noseslide

Video part of 2021: Sam Sitayeb - Birdman Junior II

Quote of 2021: “Yehooooooo”.

Song of 2021: Janet Jackson - That’s The Way Love Goes

Favourite clip you filmed in 2021: I did a switch back heel at Marble Arch through a flock of pigeons and their emperor; pretty happy with that one!

Favourite photo shot of you in 2021: Griff shot one of me doing a front 3 at Victoria Coach Station. The way it’s shot is great! He’s the goat. He also took one of Harrison (Woolgar) on the under-cliff pass in Brighton this year. I have it up on my wall in my room, it brings back many good memories.

Favourite non-skating pastime of 2021: Countryside and beach walks with my family in Brighton have been really nice, and then the same thing with Tara (my girlfriend). Apart from that, it’s gotta either be oil painting or Star Wars Battlefront II (laughs). Event of 2021: Paris with Tara for her birthday in November was lovely, including the 10 days skating I got to do there before she came out to meet me (laughs). One of my favourite cities for sure. Road trip of 2021: Everywhere I’ve been this year has been amazing. The South Coast UK camping trips I did with Al Hodgson are definitely up there. Those and Gran Canaria with Independent Trucks were both lots of fun. Good times with good people!

Skater to watch out for in 2022: Dougie George.

The thing you’re most looking forward to in 2022: I’m just super excited for travelling and skating new places around the world. Also looking forward to spending a lot of time with my friends, family, girlfriend and all my loved ones.
