Later this month, Volcom are set to launch their first Skate Happening series of online events, taking place in Bordeaux, Vienna, Madrid, Bern and - most importantly here - Bristol.
The Bristol leg will be running from September 25th - October 9th, in partnership with The Skateboarder's Companion and Campus Skateboarding.
For each event, three spots will be revealed on the first day of the contest window. Entering skaters will then have two weeks to skate and film at the chosen spots, posting their best trick from each on Instagram, using the event hashtag - #VSHBristol - and the @volcomskate tag.
Volcom approved judges will then score each trick at each spot individually for each participant, then add their three scores together for their total result. The contest is open to skilled skateboarders over 16 years of age, and entrants have to sign up online.
For the Bristol event, there is £1000 prize money on the line:
1st place - £500
2nd place - £300
3rd place - £200
Plus extra prizes from Volcom and partners at the organisers discretion. For example: noteable NBDs, most entertaining clip etc.

The three spots will be unveiled on the morning of September 25th, from then you'll have two weeks to film and submit your tricks. The prize giving will take place on October 16th!
