Last year, Aberdeen native John Rattray returned to Scotland for a special Why So Sad? event in Glasgow, and whilst he was over, The Ben Raemers Foundation made the journey north of Hadrian's Wall to work with John on another one of their incredible SMiLe films.
The resulting 12-minute documentary has just been released now, and sees John opening up about his own experiences of both skateboarding and mental health, discussing family bereavement, suicide, the skateboard industry, depression, life after professional skateboarding, and his own research into mental wellbeing.
