This Saturday sees the return of Skate Shop Day, which aims to shine a light on bricks and mortar, skater owned stores around the world.
Each year, various brands get behind the day and encourage skaters to drop by their nearest skate shop, check out exclusive products, and generally show their local some love. For 2023, the Skate Shop Day crew have teamed up with artist Mike Gigliotti to create a special shirt, which will be available from 27 independent stores around the U.K. and Ireland, with each store having their own unique version that incorporates their shop logo. A list of the participating stores can be found below, so put some pennies on one side then go pay your local skater owned retail operation a visit this coming Saturday!
Alongside the special shirt which is going to be in high demand, brands such as New Balance Numeric, Emerica, Real Skateboards, Unity Skateboards, and Grimple Sticks X Birdhouse have got limited edition items waiting for you as well. Go get involved now!
