Source Skate Co - £1066 Welcome Event - full edit and photo recap

This one might have been a long time in the making, but Source Skate Co's hugely anticipated £1066 Welcome Event certainly did not disappoint on Saturday just passed.

As expected, the four-wheeled faithful from all over the mainland made their merry way to Hastings, for an unforgiving day that saw The Source Park's bowl taking a beating which managed to surpass that served up during the 2017 Battle of Hastings. With the likes of Lola Tambling, Sam Beckett, Jack Wallbridge, Miriam Nelson, Lilly Strachan, Olive Newman, Akin Hendricks, Jordan Thackeray, Dannie Carlsen, Diggs English, Rio O'Byrne, George O'Neill, Jonas Bunger, Harry While, Tay Cunningham, Rupert Candy and Greg Nowik all in tow, it was inevitable that East Sussex was going to be playing home to one of the highlights of the 2022 events calendar.

The female and male categories of the SBGB comp kicked the day off right, Lola Tambling walked away with the best trick honours, and Tom Pickard's new Source Skate Co film Jumble Sale premiered in the evening, perfectly rounding off a long overdue day that placed the national spotlight firmly on Hastings.
