The annual Go Skateboarding Day took place on Monday, and - as luck would have it - it coincided with one of the wettest days in London of recent times.
Vans, in partnership with Slam City Skates, didn't let the elements get in the way of proceedings though, as they took a small fleet of push bikes on a trek around the city, armed with prizes for the locals they encountered, team riders, and coolers full of beer. The day naturally started off at Southbank, before heading to Slam City's Brick Lane store for lunch, ending the day in East London with a hectic hip session at the Hackney DIY and a dusk blast around the partly dry Hackney Bumps.
The edit from Go Skateboarding Day will be coming your way soon enough, but until then, check the photo recap of the day below, featuring Tom Delion, Amanda Perez, Daryl Dominguez, Conor Charleson and more! Incidental photography by Matt Law, skate shots by Rob Whiston.
