Tom Pickard from Source Skate Co. recently caught up with Brighton's resident VX enthusiast Al Hodgson, to talk about both filming and skating in Sussex, the importance of scene videos, Orwellian World Landscape, and what it was like working on the recent Source video Jumble Sale, in which Al steps in front of the lens for a part he shares with his OWL cohorts.
To coincide with the release of the interview, Tom and Al have crafted an all new Same Spot - Different Camera edit, which presents an array of south coast spots as shot in SD by Al on his VX1000, and Tom in HD on his Panasonic GH3 and Sony HVR-Z5E. This one features the likes of Jimmy Silver, Dougie George, Ash Humphrey, Rupert-Rose Antoine, James Griffiths, Josh Gislingham, Matt Ransom, Henry Bailey, Harrison Woolgar, Frankie Lanni, Dan Fisher-Eustance, Toby Shaw and Al Hodgson himself.
